What are our Weekly Produce Baskets(CSA) and how to sign up?
A quick explanation about Weekly Produce Baskets(CSA) Community-supported agriculture or community-shared agriculture (CSA) is an alternative, locally based model of agriculture and food distribution. A CSA also refers to a close relationship with a particular network of individuals who have pledged to support local farms. And we thank all our wonderful supporters for this! This year we are offering a basket service that will be a weekly service instead of a full year subscription
The CSA baskets will begin in July and end in October. There are 2 sizes available:
Small- feeds a family of 1-2 for a week- $25(include season flower bouquet-add $10)
Large- Feeds a family of 3-4 for a weeks- $40(include season flower bouquet- add $10)
This way of distributing food allows the community to support a local business, learn about natural and sustainable agriculture, and enjoy a wide variety of healthy FRESH food. For us, this is the ultimate way to deliver our food to our community. We strongly encourage all of our members to come out to the farm to see what we do, ask questions, and become involved in their food.
